As a condition of your use of the premises and facilities and your participation in activities on
the premises, you assume all risk of personal injury, death, or property loss resulting from any
cause whatsoever including, NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR BREACH OF ANY
DUTY OF CARE OWED UNDER THE OCCUPIERS’ LIABILITY ACT ON THE PART OF THE
OPERATOR OF THE PREMISES AND FACILITIES and its employees and representatives (hereinafter collectively referred to as “the Operator”).
- You agree that the Operator shall not be liable for any personal injury, death or property loss and release the Operator from all liability and waive all claims with respect thereto.
- Negligence includes failure on the part of the Operator to take reasonable steps to
safeguard or protect you from or warn you of the risks, dangers and hazards referred
to above.
- Any litigation involving the Operator shall be brought solely within Alberta and shall
be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Alberta Court.
- These conditions and any rights, duties and obligations involving the Operator shall
be governed by and interpreted solely in accordance with the laws of Alberta and no
other jurisdiction.
- Lessons will be cancelled when the temperature reaches below -25 Celsius at the Ski Lodge (not including wind chill). You will be contacted with a minimum of 1 hours’ notice for any weather-related cancelations
-When classes are canceled due to weather, Canyon will arrange a make-up class on a later date. No refunds are available if you are unable to attend a lesson. This includes any lessons that have been rescheduled due to inclement weather
-Child must be of minimum age or turn minimum age during the course to be eligible for enrollment in snow school programs. For our 'Jump Start', 'Snow X Academy' and 'Xtreme Clubs' child must be of minimum age before the first class.
-All Snow School Programs require a minimum of 4 registrants or will be subject to cancelation. Notice will be given 48 hours prior to any canceled programs first scheduled lesson and a full refund will be provided.
Refund Protection:
-All Snow School Programs purchased without accompanying refund protection are non-refundable and non-transferrable, without exceptions.
-Refund protection allows the cancelation, reschedule, or refund of an entire program registration (Must be the whole program and not a single lesson)
-Refund requests must be submitted by email to info@canyonski.ca prior to the beginning of the program start.
-The refund protection must be purchased at the time of registration.
All Snow School Participants must read and agree to the RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISKS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT before they will be issued their season pass or snow school area pass.
